Compensation & Benefits Specialist

Isle of Man | £50,000 to £60,000 | Permanent

Our client, requires a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to help drive their high performance culture and engagement of their people by helping the organisation to develop and implement industry leading Compensation and benefit policies and approaches. As a key business partner, this role will help drive business results through strong alignment of job design and structures with performance and reward. to control and optimise their engagement with their customers and prospects.


  • Assess current policies, practices and issues, providing statistical analysis of current situation and recommendations of actions required

  • Responsible for the design, development and execution of all compensation and benefits approaches

  • Work with our external consultants and specialists to leverage their knowledge and expertise in the development of the company compensation & benefits packages and initiatives

  • Design, create, implement and manage initiatives and projects at a Company and functional level, which deliver high performance outcomes aligned to the business strategy

  • Manage the annual pay review process across the businesses, ensuring alignment with goals and performance objectives

  • Be a champion for personal and business performance related reward

  • Oversee the design, development and facilitation of relevant programs and training content for all levels from onboarding to management in conjunction with our international offices

  • Assist managers with pay and career progression plans, and work collaboratively with the Talent Management Specialist to achieve the desired business outcomes 

  • Develop ongoing communication methods/reporting metrics to regularly communicate progress against key performance indicators and metrics for the business

  • Work with our executive and management team to conduct ongoing KPI assessment and needs analysis across the business to identify gaps and develop strategic solutions

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to our people, in the area of Compensation & benefits management, to enable them to realise and develop to their full potential

  • Working with the senior management team and HR to develop our future generation of leaders

  • Third party advisor management.

  • Ideally educated to degree level / Level 5 CIPD qualified

  • Min 5 years proven track record in a similar role

  • Experience in a wider HR Management role would also be highly desirable but not essential

  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or similar professional body

  • Experience of organisational design/job evaluation

  • Knowledge and experience of Talent Management approaches and their practical application

  • Expert knowledge in the area of compensation and benefits
